A bumper edition with 50 pages of facts, fun and learning.
First an article with many pictures of thousands of shorebirds, taken when they stopover in Malaysia on their way northwards to their breeding grounds, followed by an entertaining encounter with Frogmouths in Panti Bird Sanctuary, Johor. The third article, also from the Panti Bird Sanctuary reports on the Singapore students visit in May 2024.
Next comes, words and pictures describing plants and insects in the southwestern end of the Panti Forest Reserve.
The main article describes the experiences of one of the MNS staff when she attended a course of carbon Stock Assessment in a Mangrove Ecosystem in East Java, Indonesia, both in the classroom and out in the field.
Beautiful photographs are used to illustrate the lilies, daisies, dahlias and many more flowering plants that were introduced to Malaysia in the colonial days.
